Our Firm was initiated in 2001 through the association of Drs. Alfredo Battaglia and Luis Velasco (h) to form the Department of Criminal Law of the Law Firm of Drs. Arturo de las Carreras, Carlos M. Cano Frers and Enrique Martinez. Over time the activity of that Law Firm was focusing more and more on criminal law until it ended up being the main one with the incorporation of partners with recognized experience in the specialty. Some, with a long judicial career, like Drs. Carlos Alfredo Velasco and Luis Enrique Velasco, and others, from the Corporate world like Alejandro Carullo.

The work was then focused on the representation of companies and individuals in various criminal proceedings, in numerous and complex oral trials, and in the preventive counseling of business and state organizations. In addition, the interest in our specialty has moved our partners to teaching, being the academic activity very present, by actively involved in seminars, workshops, specializations,  workgroups on reform projects, advising in different areas of the State, and performing various activities in foreign Universities.

Almost two decades since the beginning of this process, the dynamic and complex reality of our activity has led to the emergence of new and diverse forms of commission that have been forcing criminal, procedural reforms, to which we now add the incorporation of the administrative sanctioning regime into the criminal law, and the internationalization of the guarantee system and the problems of criminal law of companies. This presents new challenges that motivate us to expand, forming new work teams to maintain the standards of legal advice that characterize us and provide greater services in the field of our specialty.

Sharing that goal and our values ​​has recently joined the Law Firm Team of Dr. N. Nicolás Giletta. To this new structure are added as Foreign Academic Advisors Drs. Carlos Perez del Valle and Mauro Ronco, specialists of recognized academic and professional experience in Ibero America and Europe.

In this way, we are convinced, we have combined knowledge and expertise to continue providing a service of excellence to the business and academic world, in a world that requires teamwork in the face of constant and dynamic changes in crime. This, always keeping intact the ethical tradition of the Law Firm, supported by each of its members, and under the guiding model of our prestigious consulting partners, Drs. Alfredo Battaglia and Luis Enrique Velasco.

Based on the history and tradition of the Law Firm, and the long academic and professional experience of those who now join as partners, this professional organization is formed.
